OCENET recently hosted a Parc Omega photography contest following the international student day trip to the park. Many wonderful submissions were made, and the staff had the difficult task of choosing 3 winners.

At the beginning of March 2021, we sent out call #2 to our international students inviting them, once again, to pick up the brush or the pencil or the microphone and to share a special talent that was helping them though this pandemic by participating in Cov-Art Contest #2.

Our international students were introduced to Anishnabe art and culture through a series of four virtual drawing classes given by Mark Seabrook, Wabano's Indigenous Schools Liaison.
