Step 1

• Fill in the online application form 
• Scan and upload the following documents to the application
  • Photocopy of student's passport or birth certificate
  • Official copies of school report cards for the past 2 years and current year
  • Certified translated copies of school report cards
  • Letter of Recommendation: Use form provided
  • Student and Parent Agreements
• Fill in the online homestay application form (for homestay applicants)
• C$400 Non-refundable application fee
• Submit your application

Step 2

You will receive an initial acceptance email in 3 days (online application) or 10 days (paper application) if all documentation is in order.
You will then be asked to submit a Custodianship form and a copy of original immunization record AND a translated copy (in English or French). More information on immunization requirements here.
As soon as new documents and tuition and medical insurance fees are received, a final letter of acceptance will be issued.

Step 3

Student receives a final letter of acceptance and applies at the nearest embassy, Canadian Consulate, or High Commission for a Study Permit . Approval may take 6-20 weeks.

Please contact the nearest Canadian Immigration office for detailed information on application processing times in your country. Note that applications for a Study Permit must be submitted from outside Canada.

Payment

Application fee must be submitted along with the application documents. This fee can be paid online by credit card. The fee can also be paid by international money order, bank draft, certified cheque and made payable to the Ottawa-Carleton Education Network.

• Through the internet
• By international money order, bank draft, or certified cheque made payable to the Ottawa-Carleton Education Network. Tuition and Medical Fees can also be paid by credit card.
